Any accredited travel agent can complete your travel arrangements. It is suggested you complete your travel plans as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment. We do our utmost to accommodate last minute bookings, subject only to space on the tours and at the hotels. You may also make reservations from our website, e-mail, and by phone to 415.474.7500 or our toll-free number 1-800-227-4250 from U.S and Canada.
Seats on the motor coach are not reserved. Passengers select whatever seat is vacant at the time of boarding. In fairness to all, there is a procedure of rotating the seating at various times throughout the tour.
Hotels for overnight tours are listed in the itineraries. During conventions or special events we reserve the right to substitute hotels of a similar category.
When you book a California Parlor Car Tour package, you do not need to limit your checked baggage. There is ample room for hand baggage in the overhead rack in the motor coach. In case of loss, our maximum liability is $500. For damage, other than normal wear and tear, the maximum reimbursement is $50.
Many of our tours include meals. Each itinerary will have (L) lunch, and (D) dinner included if a meal is included in the price of the tour. With each meal, you will have complete choice of menu! A typical lunch or dinner includes soup or salad, main course, dessert, coffee, tea or milk. Wine, bar beverages, appetizers and fancy desserts will be an extra cost to you. Vegetarian, Kosher, or other special diets cannot be guaranteed. Applicable taxes are also included.
TRIPLE ROOMS AND CHILDREN:
In most of the hotels used on our tours, triple rooms are not adequate for three adults and are intended for parents traveling with a child. Children between the ages 5-21 cannot be accommodated in their own hotel rooms but must share with an adult. There is no transportation charge for children under five. All expenses for children under 5 (cribs, rollaway bed, meals, etc.) are payable locally.

Travel vouchers are sent upon receipt of full payment. Extra charges will apply for overnight delivery.
CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS:
If you must cancel a tour for any reason and wish to rebook at a later date, there is no cancellation fee. Your deposit or full payment will be held for 12 months and applied to another tour of your choice. California Parlor Car Tours reserves the right to cancel tours. Should it be necessary to cancel a tour, we will try our best to be-book you on a similar tour package and offer you a choice of dates and packages. If we cancel a tour with less than 28 days notice, and full payment has been received, you will be refunded 110% of the tour cost. If, for any reason, you need to depart the tour early, your refund will be equal to rent for any hotel room not utilized. There is no refund for unused sightseeing, meals and transportation.
Contractual sale includes bus transportation, listed sightseeing admission costs, hotel rooms with tax, advertised meals with tax and gratuities, baggage space on the bus or train and coordination of necessary details. It is our intention to deliver these services. If we fail to do so, you are entitled to a refund only for actual value of the undelivered tour components or service. On rare occasions, if individual clients discontinue the tour, every effort is made to arrange transportation to the tour destination and we gladly refund, in due course, unused tour component costs.
By Law tours are operated with authority from California Public Utilities Commission, U.S.D.O.T. and other U.S. agencies. We act as agents for hotels, restaurants or other places of business and transportation carriers in certain areas; we cannot be held liable in any way for loss, injury, or damage to person or property in those places or areas.
